Contemporary Jewellery
This collection gives a taste of my studies in Contemporary Jewelry at Epsom School of Art & Design 1987-89.
Using metals as varied as titanium, copper, steel, brass and silver, I explored techniques such as patination, etching, piercing and raising.
My interest lie in self-changing forms; reconfigurations within a piece, made possible by the inclusion of small, sometimes tiny, hand-cut cogs and wheels.
Movement and Kinesis were,and still are a strong part of my identity .
